Survivor Strength: Reclaiming Your Inner Voice

There is a quiet power in hearing yourself again after surviving what tried to silence you.

Dear Survivor,

Your voice is still yours.

It may feel buried beneath doubt or fear, but it has never truly left you. I remember the first moment I heard mine clearly again. It happened during a small decision, one that felt entirely my own. That choice, however simple, awakened something sacred in me.

You are not imagining your intuition.

After enduring manipulation or emotional abuse, second-guessing can feel like survival. But deep down, you already know what is true. Your body remembers, even when your mind hesitates. Listening inward is a form of courage.

Each moment you honor your voice, healing begins.

You do not have to feel certain to be clear. Sometimes clarity is quiet, and sometimes it trembles. What matters is that it belongs to you. Every choice that reflects your truth is a declaration of healing.

You are allowed to trust what has always been inside you.

That trust is not something you need to earn back. It was never broken. It simply got buried under noise and survival. You are worthy of hearing yourself again.

If you are still untangling what happened, the Types of Abuse Worksheet can help.

When you name what was done to you, your story starts to return to you in your own voice, not theirs. That is how reclamation begins. You were never broken.

You were always brave.

Blessings and healing,
Catrina
